Job Description
- GROUP ACCOUNTING: Implement the Group accounting hub in Tunis
- Define Group chart of accounts and accounting processes (IFRS norms)
- Recruit, train and supervise junior accounting team
- Prepare monthly Group consolidated financial statements
- Prepare monthly local GAAP financial statements for all subsidiaries
- AUDIT: Liaise with external auditors (Group and subsidiary level)
- TAX: Liaise with Group and subsidiary tax advisors for regular tax returns production
- TAX: Protect the company from various tax risks
- REPORTING: Produce the various reporting required by authorities, investors, and partners
- COMPLIANCE: Maintain compliance across the Group
- OTHERS: Other tasks and responsibilities could possibly be linked to the position according to the needs and growth of the company
Qualifications
- You are at least a postgraduate (Bac+5) with a master in Accounting
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience as an accountant or working in an external audit firm
- An experience in a multinational company is a plus
- Comfortable with French and English languages (written and spoken)
- Strong level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
- Ability to perform all tasks in a confidential manner
